仲見世商店街
Nakamise Dori is one of Japan's oldest shopping streets, leading directly to the iconic Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. This vibrant 250-meter-long promenade is lined with over 80 shops offering traditional Japanese souvenirs, crafts, and delicious street food like senbei crackers and ningyo-yaki cakes, creating a lively atmosphere steeped in history.
The street can get extremely crowded, especially on weekends and holidays; try to visit early in the morning for a more relaxed experience. While enjoying street food, it's common to eat it right in front of the shop or find a designated eating area.
